Hilary N. Casey divides her time between Tyrone and Dublin. She is a UCD
English and History graduate and a qualified lawyer and has had non-fiction
pieces published in print and on radio. Her photography has been exhibited in
Tyrone and was separately selected for the ‘Chaos/Order’ Open Exhibition
2023 curated by Ann Mulrooney (Cartoon Saloon) in the Municipal Gallery
DLR Lexicon, Dublin.
She is a keen emerging poet and participated in Jessica Traynor’s DLR eco-
poetry workshops in 2022 and her poem ‘Jeopardy’ appeared in the pamphlet
THE CARBON PROJECT. She performed her poems at the POETRY BY THE
SEA event curated by Jane Robinson in the Lexicon in 2023. She has two
poems published in the recent SEAWORDS pamphlet which was performed in
DLR in May 2024.
She was delighted to be accepted to join the Airfield
Writer’s group in September 2024 and has had two poems published in their
no. 8 Broadsheet (THE MEWS) 2025 and performed at its recent launch in
June. She was shortlisted for Poetry Ireland Introductions in 2025.
She is continuing to work on preparing her first poetry collection for
publication.
