Nicola Jennings

Nicola Jennings lives in Dublin. Her short stories have been published in The Stinging Fly, The Waterford Review, Ireland’s Own, Woman’s Way, Suburb Magazine, Whispers and Shouts, Abbey Echoes One, and Ireland’s Issues. Her short story “Muscle Memory” was included in the Hennessy Book of Irish Fiction 2005-2015 (New Island Books, 2015). Her collection of short stories Horse was a finalist in the 2012 Eludia Awards (Hidden River Arts, Philadelphia).  A novel Everything She Ever Wanted was a quarter finalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award 2013.

Her poems have been published in The Plane Tree, Crannóg, The Waterford Review, Burren Meitheal,  The Stinging Fly and in the online poetry magazine The Pickled Body.

She has been a contributor to Sunday Miscellany (RTE) and to the archaeological and historical journal The Other Clare.
