Here’s Triona’s poem “The Sideboard”:
Altar to debauchery,
red lights draped around
bottles of spirits.
Photos of disgraced relations,
half burned candles, vases
full of dead, dry flowers.
Mismatched seldom used crockery,
dust covered and stacked beside
random chipped crystal glasses.
Open a drawer:
there is a faint crunching sound.
It’s woodworm devouring my history.
